Keith Phillips began his career with Unilever as a Foods Brand Manager before being attracted to Apple Computers UK to launch the original Macintosh. He went on to become CEO and took the UK to be Apple’s Country of the Year, as well as climbing Mont Blanc as an executive team building event.
He was then transferred to the USA as Head of Business Marketing, where he explored the use of the digital technologies that have shaped the world we know today. A lifestyle shift to New Zealand opened a new career as a serial innovator and entrepreneur, building and selling the first digital media company in the Southern Hemisphere to Rupert Murdoch. He became an advisor on innovation to two successive Prime Ministers and acts as a judge in a Global Business Excellence competition.
His current passion is QLBS, which has built a universal platform for audits and reporting using digital harvesting technologies to ready the certification business for the new world of AI. The platform has been used across the New Zealand horticultural industry for GLOBALG.A.P., providing seamless dataflow and transparent reporting from farmers, co-ops, and certification bodies to the Ministry of Agriculture and GLOBALG.A.P. itself.
