The Future of Auditing: Innovations in the Certification Process

About

After the first part of her professional career as researcher at Ghent University (Belgium) and as European Marketing Research Manager for a worldwide seed company, Ann joined VBT (Association of Belgian Horticultural Cooperatives) in 2006 as Advisor.

VBT is a member-driven organization, with several of its members – producer organizations Pos – BelOrta, Coöperatie Hoogstraten, and REO Veiling – also being GLOBALG.A.P. Community Members. VBT supports its members in several areas, including in market access for the producer organizations and their affiliated producers. This includes a close cooperation with scheme owners (quality management, food safety, and sustainability). VBT is also host of the GLOBALG.A.P. National Technical Working Group Belgium.

As Advisor, Ann is responsible for the follow up of relevant internal and external (legal, technical, and other) developments, the communication to the VBT members, and the consideration of concrete implications for these members. Ann has been a member of several GLOBALG.A.P. technical committees and focus groups for many years.
