Angelo Lazo, Dr.

Dr. Angelo Lazo is an expert in good agricultural practices and certification systems. He has held various key roles at FoodPLUS GmbH, including certification bodies and benchmarking coordinator between 2004–2010, as well as Technical Key Account Manager for Ecuador-Peru and Coordinator of the Latin America sales team from 2018–2024. Additionally, he participated as expert trainer of GLOBALG.A.P. standards and represented FoodPLUS at several international events. Since July 2024, he has become Lead Stakeholder Attraction.

He is driven by his commitment to the FoodPLUS vision of ensuring safe food for future generations through responsible production practices, and is passionate about innovation and connecting different stakeholders in the food industry to shape the future of responsible farming.
